I’m glad you are on the mend and have had Chloe keeping an eye on you. Happy fourth blogiversary!

Hi Linda, no worries there hasn’t been a lot of activity here. Actually, I was debating hanging up my blogger’s pen, but all the encouragement I’ve received has inspired me to continue.
My first experience in seeing blooming rapeseed fields was in Germany many years ago, I then experience them in Canada and now live amongst them in Sweden. I love the bloom although my sinuses can do without them. I actually wear a mask when around them. Then again, nowadays I wear a mask when I’m around anything…

Hi Laura, I must say the lamb ragout is one of my favorite Jamie recipes. I’ve made it stovetop, in the instant pot, and even slow cooked it in my outdoor smoker and it always tastes good.
Thanks so much for your kind words and for having a read…

Hi Karen, we do so look forward to the rapes blooming. Last year was a perfect bloom as the wind held off until the end and we were able to enjoy walks by the fields for days. This year the blooming fields will be a bit further away, but we’ll still enjoy them. And yes, I plan to take my annual pictures. Thanks for stopping by…

Hi Angela! I’m working my way back to my new normal, whatever that ends up being. I must admit that for the past couple of months I have been debating about continuing my blog. But, kind comments such as yours truly inspire me to continue. So, there will be more to come, not to a schedule but when I’m inspired. And, more when I’m recovered and get out of my isolation and can travel once again.
Do take care over your way and thanks so much for stopping by…

Hi MJ, thanks for the kind words. I think four years is just a drop in the bucket compared to the ten-year blogiversary you just celebrated. I’m so glad to have had the opportunity to bring you over this way for a virtual visit with my posts.
I am improving, but it’s been a journey thus far. Stay safe over that way and enjoy some Southwestern food for me…

Coming back to this plethora of posts was a bonus. I love them all, and especially want to try that lamb ragù with pasta. But the one with the rapeseed in bloom captured my heart. It so reminded me of passing fields like that in Italy and in California. The post on the lightening was great too. I love me a good lightening storm, as long as I’m not in it.Hope you are well.

I’ve read each of these beautiful posts before, and I know it just by the photos, they are so lovely! However, the lamb ragout post was new to me, but, strrangely, I think I’ve made that very recipe before – love a good Jamie Oliver recipe, and I believe it was my only cartouche-making adventure, too!
Hope you are feeling better every day, and I look forward to more posts from you!
