Ron the dish is definitely worth all the appreciations. It has layers of hard work and flavors. You are like a scientist who loves to play with his gadgets and food. Thank you for sharing this recipe

I’m telling you Ron, that smoked cheese just calls my name! What an elegant dish, I am drooling over here. You re-created everything so beautifully, I am seriously in awe. And can I just say how fresh and beautiful each ingredient looks? This is certainly a meal to look forward to!

Hi Eva and welcome! I’m so glad you found us. So Eva in Swedish is pronounced “Ava”, is your Hungarian Eva pronounced different for Eva? You know as I worked through this dish I knew it would be the appetizer for our COVID 19 liberation party whenever that happens. Take care over your way and thanks for taking the time to have a read and making a comment…

I see your wife’s name is Eva, my name is Éva too (but im from Hungarian descent, born Canadian). What a recipe, when there are so many components, I too like to divvy it up over several days. The culmination sounds divine. I am looking forward to a day when I can make this for friends again, here in Toronto we are in a second lockdown.

Hi Linda, yep David over at Cocoa & Lavender commented the day I posted. It was a fun endeavor and tasty as well. That bacon dust was a bonus. I remembered the taste of finely crumbled bacon on the smoked cheese, so I went searching. I found a recipe for “bacon Dirt”, but it was a no go. Then, I thought why not blitz the heck out of some crisp bacon and there ya go. Thanks for stopping by…
