Most of all, a sandwich that was made with good quality bread instead of that white processed stuff I was raised on. I do like the sounds of you fav smörgås, it sounds like a herring sashimi smörgås, perfect in my book.
Not to worry regarding Chloe, she gets plenty of beef. She prefers it raw and ground.

For the shrimp in the recipe, go to the frozen seafood isle and look for a bag of frozen “salad shrimp”. That’s what we used when we lived in Kentucky…Then make the dish and don’t tell hubby it has mayo in it. Or, you can omit the mayo and use all crème fraîche, mixed with a squeeze of lemon. It’ll be a bit more runny, as the mayo adds body to the sauce, but still tasty.
